I am a proud military spouse, who had many opportunities to travel and experience a diverse population of clients.  I was not a traditional student, and my education spanned about 10 years, attending 3 colleges, with completion of my Masters degree in Communication Disorders from Baylor University in Texas.  I have been blessed to engage in therapy with all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics!!! I LOVED every population,  learning and growing along the way.  The best part of being a speech language pathologist and my personal goal for each client, is to change lives.  The relationship between myself, client and family becomes strong during the development and individualization of goals and strategies, to reach personal goals, whether it is effective communication,  safe swallowing, rehabilitation after stroke or head trauma, and community trips to provide experiences in real life situations that some clients benefit from.  It has been a wonderful career, more than a job, and a personal calling for me.
