I began my career as a private tutor, supporting school-age children with literacy challenges, while working as a paraprofessional for the NYC DOE. My passion for culturally sensitive, linguistically diverse therapeutic relationships inspired me to pursue a graduate program with a strong focus on Aphasia and Parkinson’s Disease treatment. I love exploring music during play based therapy for increasing expressive language.
