Samantha Hamilton

I received my bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and graduated with a Master of Science degree in 2009 from the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas. My first job out of school was at a skilled nursing facility in Connecticut from 2009-2011 where I worked with patients with a variety of diagnosis including dysphagia, stroke, MS, Cerebral Palsy, and Alzheimer’s Dementia. My husband then received orders with the Navy, and we moved to Oahu in 2012. I knew I wanted to make the switch to working in pediatrics, while still having the opportunity to work with adults, and Oahu Speech was the perfect fit! We now have 2 children, and I feel so fortunate to live and be able to raise our children in such a beautiful place. I truly love what I do and feel honored that I can be a part of my client’s progress in helping them communicate in whatever way is most successful for them. My passions are speech sound disorders, child-led therapy, and AAC to name a few. I continue to educate myself and learn every day. I look forward to being a part of you or your child’s communication journey!
